One amiibo, several games
An amiibo figure can be used in several games. This way your favorite titles reach a whole new level of gaming fun. Even if you have saved game data from Super Smash Bros. on your amiibo character, for example, you can use it to unlock content in Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors and other titles.
In some titles it is possible to read certain data from an amiibo figure and save it on it. In other games, you can only read data from an amiibo. For example, if you touch the NFC contact point with an amiibo, you can transfer that character or some of its attributes into the game.
- The amiibo interacts with compatible games when it comes into contact with the NFC contact point. In this way, on the one hand, data stored on the figure is transferred to the game, on the other hand, information from the game is transferred to the figure.
- The different compatible games use the possibilities of amiibo in different ways.
- Players have the choice of teaming up with their amiibo characters or competing against them. Either way, the characters can be further developed over time. If you want, you can easily show your friends the progress and newly acquired abilities of your amiibo: All you have to do is simply hold the character up to a friend's NFC contact point - and the interactive game fun can continue!
