A long story of success ....
began over a hundred years ago with the founding of a photo shop in Würzburg.
In 1932 the Duttenhofer family took over and turned it into a medium-sized enterprise with around two hundred employees.
In the meantime the Duttenhofer Group is made up of several pan-European mail-order firms dealing in wholesale and retail.
In 1972 one of the first mail-order companies in Germany was born: “Würzburger Fotoversand” , which later became TECHNIKdirekt. Since 1995 you can find us online under www.technikdirekt.de. We have collected over 30 years of significant experience which we employ exclusively for the benefit of our customers. Our purpose is to offer them a broad range of products:

as well as professional counselling and convenient prices.
The Duttenhofer Group attaches great value to staff-training and the professional further development of its employees.
The number of training positions has been systematically increased during the past years.

The trainees get a thorough knowledge of the Duttenhofer Group. Becoming familiar with the Duttenhofer philosophy will enable the trainees to pursue the ultimate goal of the company – relentless customer focus. The main objective of the job training is to provide the trainees with appropriate professional and functional knowledge. The apprenticeship in the DG also aims at raising the trainees' awareness to the significance of communication skills and team spirit.
