| Right of return for consumers, instructions for return | |||||||||
| A legal right of return is applicable for customers. This right of return is not applicable to sealed software products, CDs, DVDs, videos and other audio and video recordings; insofar the seals were broken on the data carriers. The right of return is also applicable for these products if payment in instalments was agreed upon. TECHNIKdirekt informs about the right of return as follows: | |||||||||

Right of return All articles may be returned without stating any reasons within 14 days by sending the goods back. The time limit shall begin at the earliest on the day after receipt of these instructions in text form (e.g. as a letter, fax, email), but not before the goods are received by the addressee (in case of repeat shipments of similar goods not before receipt of the first partial shipment) and not before compliance to our obligation to provide information pursuant to article 246 § 2 in combination with § 1 section 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our obligations pursuant to § 312g section 1 sentence 1 BGB in combination with § 3 EGBGB. Only for non-shippable goods (e.g. for bulky goods) you can state the wish for return in text form. To maintain the term, timely dispatch of the goods or the return statement is sufficient. In any case the return shipment is conducted at our cost and risk. The return shipment or the return statement shall be addressed to: | |||||||||

Consequences of return In the event of an effective return, the consideration received by each party shall be refunded and any benefits obtained shall be returned. In case of deterioration of the thing and for uses (e.g. use advantages) which cannot be or cannot partially be or can only be given back in a deteriorated condition, you have to offer us compensation in this limit. For the deterioration of the thing and for the advantages derived from it you have to pay damages for the value as far as the uses or the deterioration of the thing are caused by a handling of the thing exceeding the check of characteristics and functions. “Check of characteristics and functions” means testing and trying the respective good like it is possible in a shop and as usual. Obligations to reimburse payments must be complied with within 30 days. The time limit shall begin for you when the goods or the return demand are sent, for us with receipt. Financed business If you finance this contract by a loan and after that you make use of your right for return you shall no longer be bound to the loan contract, as far as both contracts form an economic unit. This shall be assumed in particular in case we are at the same time the lender of the loan, or if the lender makes use of the cooperation with us with regard to the financing. If we already received the loan when the cancellation becomes effective or at the return of the good, your lender shall assume the rights and obligations from us in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the cancellation or return. If you wish to avoid being contractually bound as far as possible, make use of your right to withdraw from the contract and revoke your loan contract if you have the right of withdrawal. Unbinding return recommendations: Without the customer being obliged hereto, TECHNIKdirekt recommends the following return options for the execution of the right of return: The customer may send back the goods conveniently using the free of charge returns note including the completed return statement. In cases in which the goods do not include a return statement, TECHNIKdirekt recommends to send back the goods only after agreement with TECHNIKdirekt. In this case the customer will receive a parcel stamp (DHL freeway stamp) free of charge by request. The customer must then only attach the stamp to the parcel and take it to a post office. If the customer chooses to proceed this way, the return term of 14 days is deemed as adhered to if the parcel stamp is requested within the term and the goods are sent to TECHNIKdirekt. within one week as of receipt of the parcel stamp. The parcel stamp can be requested via telephone (0931 - 9708800), via email or telefax. Please use a safe – if possible the original transport packaging for the return shipment. | |||||||||
